LEEA Members are expected to continually raise their standards of practice. They are subject to technical audits of their working practices and their employees are required to undertake training and CPD.

LEEA (The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) is well known and highly regarded across the globe both within the industry and with end users, who are increasingly expecting LEEA membership from their suppliers.
Our vision is to promote enhanced standards and sustainable development for the Worldwide Lifting and Safety Industry and our mission is that we will educate, influence and enable so that best practice is normal practice.
Our vision and mission underpin everything we do. We are not an Association where firms simply pay their fees and use our badge. LEEA is proud to focus on promoting enhanced lifting standards and sustainable development. This means that all new members go through a thorough application process which includes a face to face technical audit. Only having completed this process are companies admitted as members of the Association.
Members are then expected to continually raise their standards of practice. This includes ongoing training offered by LEEA either in person or online, as well as by referring to the numerous best practice guidance documents we produce each year.
All members receive annual contact from our expert team, including short notice audits, to ensure standards remain high.
