LEEA’s New Foundation Certificate launches in Sunderland
An in-person Foundation Certificate (FOU) course is available at the Hilton Garden Inn Sunderland from 29th April to 1st May. The course starts each day at 09:00 and ends at 16:00, offering the chance to gain essential industry knowledge and set a strong foundation for a career in lifting operations.
Designed for beginners, LEEA’s three-day instructor-led training course covers common types of lifting equipment used across the industry and basic knowledge of key topics. To reinforce learning and directly impact the student’s daily operations, there is a new assessment and learners make personal commitments to take back to their place of work. The courses also contain two case studies that are to reflect the real life scenarios.
Those taking the course will master the fundamentals of common lifting equipment used across industries and develop expertise in key safety standards and best practices. It will also prepare the learner for advanced qualifications, as this course is a vital pre-requisite for LEEA Diplomas and does not qualify participants to conduct inspection or examination of lifting equipment.
In addition to Sunderland, courses will be available in Glasgow on 20th – 22nd May, Kent on 1st – 3rd July and Aberdeen on 29th – 31st July.
