LEEA meets the Malaysia Department of Occupational Safety and Health
LEEA Southeast Asia Regional Manager William Ng met with the Malaysia Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) on 11th December 2024. The meeting provided an opportunity for LEEA explain during a presentation how the Association can be a major help to improve lifting safety in industry in Malaysia.
Both LEEA and DOSH Malaysia will be working together on supporting events in lifting safety and will assist in the development of code of practices and skill development.
Attendees at the meeting from DOSH included: Mr Ahmad Nazri (Director of Industrial Safety Division), Mr Ir. Hamili, Noor Asriah and Mr Mohd Fauzi from Industrial Safety Division. Also contributing to the presentation was Mr Oscar Lai from Top Slings, Lt Colonel Frank Tan and Captain Jalil from ISO group.
A token of honour was presented to Mr Mohd Hatta (Director General of DOSH) as symbol of maintaining ‘Golden Standards’ in Malaysian industry.
